Child Care Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) is a federal grant through the US Department of Education to support graduate and undergraduate university students who are also parents of minor children. The grant financially supports access to child care and assists with resource navigation through a family service specialist who works directly with student-parent families. The grant further supports activities to assess needs for all student-parents and help develop stronger systems of support for child care at the university level, and provides funds for program evaluation. The goal of the CCAMPIS grant is to support student-parents in their parental roles and academic pursuits with the goal of ensuring that student-parents are able to complete their degrees.
The CCAMPIS project is funded by the United States Department of Education.
