Early Childhood Professionals have a range of opportunities to engage in self-paced, online learning through both DIEEC and other organizations approved by the Delaware Department of Education.
DIEEC Courses
Core Trainings on PDMS/Schoology
As of May 1, 2026, all new registrations for the following courses are available on the Delaware Department of Education’s PDMS/Schoology platform only. PDMS is where you register for professional development, and Schoology is where you complete the course.
If you do not already have one, you will need to create an EdAccess account to use PDMS and Schoology. Click HERE to learn how to get started. Once you have an account, you can use the links below to register for and access the trainings.
DIEEC has also created a toolkit for program administrators who are supporting educators in creating EdAccess accounts and navigating PDMS and Schoology.

If you were previously enrolled in one of the above courses through DIEEC but did not complete the course by June 12, you will need to start again in PDMS and Schoology.
This information pertains only to the three courses listed above. Other professional learning opportunities with DIEEC continue to be available on the DIEEC PD registry.
Delaware Department of Education Approved
The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) maintains a list of professional development opportunities that can be used to meet annual training hours for licensing in Delaware. Online School-Age Training Series
A self-paced training series focused on school-age care is available through Cypherworks. This training package can be purchased as a bundle (all 72 hours must be completed within one year of purchase) or as individual 14 or 16-hour modules (School Age: Youth Development, School Age: Social Emotional Wellness, School Age: Learning Environment and Curriculum, and School Age: Family and Community Partnerships). Additional courses for directors are available. Bundles are $70, and modules are $45 ($55 for the director’s series).
Early Education Pathways (EEP)- formerly Individualized Professional Development (iPD) Portfolio
EEP hosts free, online, self-paced courses designed for early care and education staff that can be accessed through the Office of Head Start’s Early Education Pathways (EEP) site.
Courses are available that may be used toward becoming qualified for early care and education positions and annual training hours for licensing. Once you complete a course, you can print certificates showing course completion.
