Board members serve for a term of three years.
Board members are compensated at a rate of $25/hour for their participation.
Meetings occur quarterly and are held outside of typical working hours.
One meeting per year is held in-person, with the remainder of the meetings virtual.

The DIEEC Early Childhood Educator Leadership Board brings together a diverse group of educators dedicated to strengthening the supports provided for Delaware’s early childhood community. The board serves to integrate educator voice and offer insights into the needs of Delaware’s early childhood community, providing feedback and recommendations on DIEEC’s programs and initiatives. Our shared goal is to strengthen the reach and impact of DIEEC as a source of support for all early childhood professionals in our state.

Board members include classroom educators, program administrators, and family child care educators from all three counties. Each member serves for three years, participating in quarterly facilitated meetings that promote lively discussions, idea exchange, and actionable strategies.
