Center Based Curriculum

Curriculum for infants and toddlers provide guidance and strategies for:

  • Supporting infant and toddler development and learning
  • Engaging in responsive interactions and relationships with children
  • Partnering with families

Staff use what they know about each child’s strengths and needs and each family’s goals to plan their use of the evidence-based curricula used at NDEHS.

In the center-based programs, teachers use The Creative Curriculum® for Infants and Toddlers and Twos as a primary curriculum The Experience Learning curricula – Experience Infant and Experience Toddler are used as supplemental curricula in the classroom.

The family advocates use The Parent as Teachers Curriculum and Partners for a Healthy Baby—Home Visiting Curriculum for Expectant Families and New Families as the curriculum for home visits.
