Family child care community meetings offer valuable opportunities to connect with fellow educators and network coordinators. These gatherings provide a supportive space to ask questions, engage in meaningful conversations, share ideas and experiences, and explore topics that matter most to you.
Each month, there are five statewide opportunities to participate, including one in-person meeting in each region of Delaware -New Castle County, Kent County, Sussex County, and Wilmington—as well as a virtual option. All family child care educators are warmly invited and encouraged to join.

This is an in-person event at the UD Paradee Center, 69 Transportation Circle, Dover, DE 19901.
Family childcare community meetings are great opportunities to network with other family childcare educators, hear updates, ask questions, and share ideas. Each month we offer 5 opportunities to attend statewide. We have four in-person options (one in each area of Delaware - New Castle County, Kent County, Sussex County, and the city of Wilmington)- and one virtual option. All family child care educators are invited and encouraged to join! We hope to see you there!

This July 6 session is focused on program administrators and FCC educators.
The Delaware Department of Education, Office of Early Learning (OEL), is hosting several QIS information sessions in July for early childhood providers and educators. These sessions will include presentations from OEL, the Delaware Institute for Excellence in Early Childhood (DIEEC), and the Early Childhood Innovation Center (ECIC). Participants will learn about the broader QIS system, the FY27 QIS Focus Areas, and the Quality Improvement Planning (QIP) Process. There will also be time to discuss questions related to upskilling, including the different pathways available for educators working toward CDA requirements.
Registration is required to attend and to receive access to the recording. OEL QIS Informational Sessions Registration Link for all sessions.
